13th Annual Cape May County Healthcare Resource Day to Be Held April 14

WILDWOOD – Cape May County’s Annual Healthcare Resource Day is scheduled for April 14, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m, at the Wildwoods Convention Center. The free event will showcase 40 different healthcare organizations and free health screenings. 
A major highlight of the day will be a presentation at 11 a.m. by Joe Faldetta, Substance Use Navigator at Cape Assist, on a major health topic, “A Community Based Approach to Addiction and Recovery.”
“Come join us and explore all the health services Cape May County has to offer! Cape May County Healthcare Resource Day offers you the chance to see a variety of health services under one roof. The event also gives you the opportunity to get your health in check by taking advantage of the various health screenings offered at this event,” said Kevin Thomas, health officer.
Admission and parking for Cape May County Healthcare Resource Day are free to participants. The free health screenings offered are courtesy of Parish Nursing and South Jersey AIDS Alliance.
Health screenings being offered are:
• Cholesterol Screening
• Blood Sugar Screening
• Fracture Risk Screening
• Peripheral Artery Screening
• HIV Testing
