Wildwood High School's Kyion Flanders.

By Steph Cella

WILDWOOD – Wildwood High School boys basketball senior standout Kyion Flanders reached a rare milestone on Feb. 10.
Flanders became the fourth Cape May County high school boys basketball player to score 2,000 career points. He is also the 38th player in South Jersey to do so.
The milestone came late in the fourth quarter off a jumper in the Warriors’ home game against county rival Lower Cape May. He led the team with a game-high 34 points in their 77-70 win.
Flanders has 2,004 career points before Feb. 12’s non-conference game at Ocean City.
