WILDWOOD – The Wildwoods Boardwalk kicks off their nightly entertainment schedule June 26, with a fireworks spectacular at 10 p.m. Accompanied by music on the boardwalk sound system, the fireworks will be launched from the Pine Avenue beach and be visible from everywhere on the Wildwoods Boardwalk. The weekly Friday Night Fireworks will take place every Friday through Labor Day weekend, with a rain date of Sunday night at 10 p.m., if needed.
In addition to the Friday Night Fireworks, the Boardwalk Special Improvement District also sponsors the Boardwalk Parades on Monday through Thursday nights at 7:30 p.m. The Boardwalk Parades start at 16th Avenue and travel south on the Boardwalk to the Wildwood Convention Center.
The nightly entertainment schedule is: Monday (The Cape Atlantic Irish Pipe Brigade), Tuesday (Main Stage Harmony Performers, Hatboro Horsham High School Marching Band, Original Hobo Band of Pitman, Ceasar Rodney Band), Wednesday (Duffy Spring Band), and Thursday (Duffy String Band, Fralinger String Band, Woodland String Band, Ferko String Band).
West Cape May – The amount of TV shows airing is getting out of hand. Less movies are being produced today than ever before. Instead, people are glued to watching shows that most people never heard of.
