Extra Trick-or-Treating Events:
LOWER TOWNSHIP’s annual Haunted Trails will be held Oct. 25 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Cape May County Airport in Erma. The well-attended, annual event features a haunted walking trail with frightening scenes. Admission is free. The event is staffed by volunteers and presented by the Lower Township Parks and Recreation Department. For more information call: 886-7880, ext 8.
NORTH WILDWOOD’s Trunk or Treat and Block Party will be held Friday, Oct. 31 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Olde New Jersey Ave between 2nd & Chestnut Aves. Parents are encouraged to bring their automobiles decorated for Halloween. Children will come in costume and visit each car where families will provide treats from the trunks of their cars. WILDWOOD CREST’s Recreation Department will hosts its annual Halloween season Trunk-or-Treat family event on Thursday, Oct. 30 at 6:30 p.m. at the Crest Pier. Adults will decorate their vehicles for Halloween and distribute candy to children in costume from the trunks of their vehicles. Prizes will be awarded to the best-decorated vehicles. Event includes food, DJ entertainment, magic show and more. The event is free for adults and children, but decorated automobiles must be pre-registered. Registration forms are available at the Crest Pier Recreation Center. Call 523-0202 for more information.
WOODBINE’s “Trunk or Treat” event will take place at the far end of the bike path, between Washington and Lincoln Avenues, starting at 5 p.m. and going until 7 p.m., Oct. 31. Adults can fill their vehicle trunks with goodies and give them out to the children as they walk the bike path. All community members are welcome to come out and park your cars (decorations are optional) and participate in the Festivities for a Safe Environment Halloween. Event is open to all Woodbine residents.
