AVALON – Original members Jerry Gross and Mark Stevens performed their trademark falsetto harmonies to a sold out crowd at Avalon Community Hall May 30 performing hits like, “Why Do Fools Fall in Love?” and “Tears on My Pillow.”
Ladies in poodle skirts swayed to a medley of “Stand By Me” and “Chain Gang” while couples took to the dance floor.
Seemingly having as much fun as the crowd, Gross and Stevens indulged a capacity audience down memory lane by recalling particular years in rock n’ roll history.
Opening band “Sleepless Nights” warmed up the crowd with hits by Herman’s Hermits.
The event was made possible by Avalon Performing Arts Council.
Cape May – Governor Murphy says he doesn't know anything about the drones and doesn't know what they are doing but he does know that they are not dangerous. Does anyone feel better now?
