The Chatterband to Play at Wildwood Crest’s Centennial Park Aug. 23

WILDWOOD CREST — The Chatterband, one of the Delaware Valley’s longest-running and most popular dance/party bands, will perform Aug. 23 at 7:30 p.m. at Centennial Park.
The Chatterband has been entertaining music lovers of all ages throughout the region for nearly 35 years. A nine-piece band featuring an exceptional horn section and a variety of singers, the Chatterband performs many of the most popular dance and party songs ever recorded, from the 1970s through today. The band regularly plays anything and everything from classic disco hits to rock anthems to the most popular songs of Frank Sinatra to today’s latest pop and dance tunes.
Saturday’s event is a free all-ages show. Attendees should bring a blanket or a chair.
Centennial Park is located at Fern Road and Ocean Avenue.
The Wildwood Crest Summer Music Series, supported by the Wildwood Crest Tourism Development Commission, consists of live music every Wed. and Sat. at 7:30 p.m. at Centennial Park through Aug. 30. Other upcoming entertainment includes barbershop quartet-style American classics by the Cape Harmonaires Aug. 27 and dance and party hits by Purple Reign Aug. 30.
