By Sponsored Content

COURT HOUSE – In keeping with its goal to present entertaining as well as thought-provoking films rarely shown in this area, the Performing Arts Center of Middle Township will turn to the serious subject of nuclear power when it continues its “Monday Night At The Movies Series” on its big screen March 24 at 7 p.m. at the PAC.
“Pandora’s Promise,” directed by Oscar nominee Robert Stone, is a groundbreaking film that addresses the question of how we will continue to power modern civilization without destroying it. The full-length feature film was shown at the Sundance Film Festival where it was an audience favorite. It tells the intensely personal stories of environmentalists and energy experts whose views on the subject have changed from anti to pro–nuclear energy. Stone addresses this controversy among environmentalists with stories of defections by some of the movement’s leaders.
Kay AspelL , managing director of The PAC, said the film is informative and emotional and raises interesting questions about the future and past of nuclear power. It is being presented in conjunction with Pro-Media Advertising of Middle Township which also is co-sponsoring the series that extends on alternate Monday nights into May.
Tickets are $8 and may be ordered by calling 609-463-1924 or purchased at the PAC box office. The Performing Arts Center is situated at 212 Bayberry Drive, Court House, one mile east of exit 10 of the Garden State Parkway. There is free parking on the premises.
