Put the “island” back into Cape Island with MAC-a-ritaville—a Jimmy Buffett-themed fundraising gala that supports the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts’ Educational Outreach Programs.
On Saturday, Sept. 26, put on your Hawaiian shirt and flip-flops for the party of the year at the Kiwanis Clubhouse, 1041 Beach Ave., from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Cool island food, drink and music are on the agenda for the evening. Enjoy catering by the Washington Inn, live entertainment with DJ Tony Genaro and Bill Bittmann on steel drums, dancing, and an open bar with margaritas, sangria and more. MAC-a-ritaville tickets cost $125 per per-son.
For a truly tropical experience, sign on as a sponsor and enjoy an exclusive cocktail party featuring champagne and seafood hors d’oeuvres, upstairs at the Kiwanis Club.
The sponsorship levels include the following: Pencil Thin Mustache—$350 (includes two tickets to the Gala), Cheese Burger in Paradise—$500 (includes 3 tickets to Gala), and Parrothead—$1,000 (includes 4 tickets to the Gala). Sponsor tickets are limited to 100.
