‘Little Shop’ to frighten Ocean City

The Ocean City POPS and Ocean City Theatre Company (OCTC) will present the frightening favorite, “Little Shop of Horrors” Oct. 23-24 at 7:30 p.m. and Oct. 25 at 2 p.m.
Tickets are available at www.ocnj.us, by calling 609-525-9300, or by visiting the Ocean City Music Pier box office or City Hall Annex at 901 Asbury Ave.
The role of nerdy, lovable Seymour will be played by Justin Macijewski.
No stranger to the stage, Macijewski has been seen in previous OCTC productions as the Mayor in Seussical, the Wizard in The Wizard of Oz and Rudolph in Hello, Dolly.
Alyssa Laderer most recently seen in Fame at the Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City will be making her OCTC pre-miere as Audrey.
OCTC is a 501c3 theatre company back for their second year after a successful inaugural season in 2008.
Under the guidance of several community members and Artistic Director, OCTC was formed to enhance the already established theatre opportunities in the Ocean City area.
Past productions have included collaborations with the OC Pops on 42ndStreet, The Wizard of Oz and A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum as well as solo productions of ‘Tis The Season and the formation of a Junior Company.
Part of the OCTC mission is to provide quality arts education opportunities to the students of the area.

December 18-20—A Christmas Wonderland: Ocean City’s Holiday Spectacular: A family friendly, fully staged song and dance revue perfect to celebrate the holiday season.
February 13, 2010—I Love NY! A Cabaret of Broadway Love Songs: An annual cabaret and dessert showcase fea-tures music from Broadway that will inspire love and romance.
