First Cape May Renaissance Festival Opens

WEST CAPE MAY – Jugglers, musicians, stilt walkers and pirates entertained Sat. Oct. 2 at the first Cape May Renaissance Festival here on the ground of Willow Creek Winery on Stevens Street.
Under a cloudless sky, attendees enjoyed performances on the main stage, several tents and had a closer look at strolling entertainers. The event is being presented by Access to the Arts Inc. and continues Sun., Oct. 3.
Performers included madrigals from Cherry Hill and Haddonfield, the Renaissonics Band, Queen Elizabeth’s Court and scenes from Shakepeare’s “As You Like It.”
