CAPE MAY – Mark your calendar for Cape May’s 31st Halloween Parade Oct. 19, 2014. The annual parade features music, entertainment, and of course, dozens of costumes from chilling to thrilling. Awards will be given in many different categories, groupings, and age ranges. Be sure to bring a sweets bag for trick or treating on the Washington Street Mall, starting at noon.
Participants can download a registration form online at www.discovercapemaynj.com or pick one up at Cape May Convention Hall. Onsite parade registration starts at 1:30 p.m. on Perry and Washington Street, with judging beginning at 2 PM. The parade steps off at 3 p.m. from Perry Street and concludes at the Emlen Physick Estate. Entertainment and music will be provided by:

• Cape May County, Woodland, and Ferko String Bands
• The Cape May Dance Company
• The Doctors of Rhythm
• Ed Coles and the Entertainers
• Jersey Cape Dance & Gymnastics Academy
• Joanne Reagan School of Dance
• Lower Cape May Regional Marching Band
• Mackie the Stilt Walker
• Wildwood High School Band
Grand Marshals for the parade are Cape May City Mayor Dr. Edward Mahaney, Jr. and the members of the City of Cape May Council. Other special guests include 2014 Queen Maysea Addyson Jensen and Dr. Emlen Physick.
The Cape May Halloween Parade is a spook-tacular good time. Be there or be scared!
