Broadway legend comes to Ocean City

The Ocean City Pops Orchestra, William Scheible, Artistic Director, present Chita Rivera at 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 28 at its historic venue, the Music Pier, Moorlyn Terrace and the Boardwalk.
See this Broadway legend and two-time Tony Award winner in an exciting program of energetic and memorable music.
Universally regarded as an American national treasure, Rivera is Broadway’s most accomplished and versatile dancer/actress/singer.
A recipient of the prestigious Kennedy Center honor, presented by the President of the United States, she has won two Tony Awards as best leading actress in a musical and has received six additional Tony Award nominations.
In 1957, Broadway history was made when Rivera’s electric performance as Anita in the Broadway premiere of West Side Story brought her stardom.
