State Sen. Michael Testa and Assemblymen Antwan McClellan and Erik Simonsen will address the state Department of Environmental Protection’s proposed rules for Resilient Environments and Landscapes and other issues that affect the region at an Ocean City Chamber of Commerce breakfast on Thursday, Oct. 17, at 8:30 a.m. at the Ocean City Yacht Club, 100 Bay Road.

The legislators, along with county and municipal officials in Cape May, say the proposed rules, which aim to deal with climate change and affect new development as well as building renovations, among other things, are too much, too fast and would have a huge negative impact on the county.
