Mary Jane “Cookie” Latella.
Our loving and dearest Mary Jane “Cookie” Latella, passed away February 26, 2025 at the age of 87. Beloved daughter of the late Angelo and Carmela (nee Argondizzo) Giorno. Cookie is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, George Latella; Son, George Latella (Cheryl); Grandchildren Nicole Collins (Joe), George Latella Jr. (Gia), and Dana Latella; Great-Grandchildren, Joseph Collins, James Collins, and Giada Latella; Brother, Vincent Giorno. She was predeceased by her brother Joseph Giorno. Cookie was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, Godmother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and friend. She was born in Belmont Hills outside of Philadelphia. She met her husband George in the Summer of 1961 at Moore's Inlet in North Wildwood where he was playing with his band “The Show Boys”. It was love at first sight. They began dating and married in 1962. This was the beginning of a long and happy marriage. Cookie worked as a waitress at Cozy Morley's Club Avalon for many summers while George played music in Wildwood, Cape May, & Avalon. They spent many happy summers working and socializing with the famous entertainers of that era. Her empathy for others was evident throughout her life and she was a great communicator. Cookie's greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted Catholic, whose faith guided her through each journey of her life. Gregory A. Carr Sr., 64, passed away peacefully at his home on the morning of April 26th, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on January 20, 1961, Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Louella and Dr. Clayton Carr. He is survived by his devoted wife, Tracey
