Knights of Columbus Council 9113 from St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish in Marmora held their annual Holiday Helping Hand program on Dec. 21.

Every year the Knights partner with the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program and local merchants to provide toys, as well as all the fixings needed for a Christmas breakfast and dinner, including a turkey or chicken, stuffing, eggs, bacon, vegetables, cranberry sauce and more for children and their families.

Knights of Columbus Grand Knight Bob Bamberger said, “This year we were able to make Christmas a little more special for over 80 families; that works out to be about 300 people. This project takes months of planning and is very special to the men of our council.”

Knights of Columbus Council 9113 is sponsored by St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish and meets the second Wednesday of every month in the church hall at 7:30 p.m.
