Readers are reminded that not only are all individuals listed below presumed innocent unless proven guilty, but there may also be multiple individuals who share the same name, even in the same town.
COURT HOUSE – A Cape May County grand jury handed up 6 indictments on September 23.
The abbreviation CDS below stands for controlled dangerous substance. A “certain person” charge can be brought against individuals whose previous convictions bar them from having weapons.
Darryl J. Jones faces a six count indictment with two third degree counts for manufacturing, distributing or dispensing a CDS and two counts of possession of a CDS, cocaine and heroin. The indictment contains a second degree count for distributing a CDS within 500 feet of public property, and finally a fourth degree count for distribution of drug paraphernalia.
Vince A. Bove and Crystal R. Wren-Mazziotto were jointly indicted in a 5 count indictment. Bove alone was named in four of the counts with two for possession of a CDS with intent to distribute and two for possession of a CDS, fentanyl and buprenorphine. Both Bove and Wren-Mazziotto were named jointly in the last count for possession of a CDS, methamphetamine. All counts were in the third degree.
Joseph A. Salladino was named in a ten count indictment including two counts of certain person in the second degree. Salladino had been convicted in 2016 of first degree robbery. The certain person counts are for possession of a Taurus handgun and a Sig Sauer handgun. The other eight charges in the indictment were in the fourth degree with four for possession of a prohibited weapon, high capacity magazines, two others for certain person for possession of the prohibited weapons. A separate certain person count for possession of a gravity knife, and finally a count for possession of a prohibited device, hollow point bullets.
Herald N. Perkins faces a twelve count indictment including six counts of invasion of privacy using a pen camera to photograph or film an individual without their knowledge and six counts of second degree endangering the welfare of a child.
Benito Rosario, Jr. was indicted on a single count of third degree burglary in Wildwood City in June.
Andrew G. Kenyon was named in a five count indictment with two second degree counts for endangering the welfare of a child, two third degree counts for making terrorist threats and aggravated assault, and one fourth degree count for possession of a prohibited weapon, a gravity knife.
