Indictments Filed Oct. 22

Readers are reminded that not only are all individuals listed below presumed innocent unless proven guilty, there may also be multiple individuals who share the same name, even in the same town.

COURT HOUSE – A Cape May County grand jury handed up 16 indictments Oct. 22. 

The abbreviation CDS below stands for controlled dangerous substance.  A “certain person” charge can be brought against individuals whose previous convictions bar them from having weapons. 

Randell L. Neblett was indicted on six counts, including unlawful possession of a weapon in the second degree for possession of a Taurus Millenium 9mm gun. Neblett also faces three counts of third-degree possession of a CDS, methamphetamine, codeine and bromazolam. The final two counts were for possession of a prohibited weapon in the fourth degree, large-capacity magazines and hollow-point bullets.

Summer L. Cruz faces two fourth-degree counts for criminal trespass and criminal mischief in Middle Township in July.

Kimberley A. McAllister was named in a single-count indictment for fourth-degree shoplifting in Middle Township.

Carol Allen was indicted on a single count of fourth-degree contempt of a judicial order.

Kelsey A. Flynn faces three third-degree counts of possession of a CDS, amphetamine, alprazolam and clonazepam.

Matthew H. Gould was indicted on a single count of fourth-degree throwing bodily fluids at a Wildwood police officer.

Joseph C. Vanleer was named in a four-count indictment for fourth-degree criminal mischief, third-degree possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, a hammer, fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon and certain person in the fourth degree due to a 2016 conviction for possession of a CDS.

Jessica A. Latimer faces a third-degree count for theft of a motor vehicle, a 2019 Chevrolet Malibu in Wildwood in September.

James A. Walters was indicted for theft and a bad check for $6,201 that he knew would not cash.

Trevaughn J. Dixon-Hill and Justin E. Hill were named in a 19-count indictment. They were jointly named in eight counts, three for third-degree burglary, three for third-degree conspiracy to commit burglary and two for third-degree theft. Justin Hill alone was named in the other 11 counts, five for burglary in the third degree, one for third-degree theft of a motor vehicle, three other counts for third-degree theft, and two counts of fraudulent use of a credit card.

Scott P. Maguire was indicted on two counts of aggravated assault, one in the second degree and one in the third degree, along with one third-degree count for criminal restraint.

William Hoyle and David L. Johnson were both named in a 12-count indictment in which Johnson is only named in a single count, for hindering apprehension in the third degree. The other 11 counts all listed only William Hoyle. Hoyle faces two counts of attempted murder in the first degree, two counts of aggravated assault in the second degree, two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon, a 9mm handgun, a third-degree count for a prohibited weapon, a handgun without serial number, and one count of prohibited weapon in the fourth degree, large capacity magazines. Hoyle’s remaining three counts were third-degree resisting arrest, second-degree certain person for the handgun and fourth-degree certain person for ammunition. Hoyle was convicted of conspiracy to commit aggravated assault in 2010.

Celil Ardahan was indicted on two second-degree counts for eluding police and aggravated assault.

Michael J. Macklin and Sara E. Wilson were jointly named in two counts for third-degree possession of a CDS, methamphetamine, and fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, a shank. Wilson alone was named in a count for fourth-degree possession of a prescription legend drug. Macklin alone was named in a count for fourth-degree tampering with evidence.

Brayan A. Hernandez-Sanchez and Johnathan Rodriguez-Moreno were jointly named in four counts, three second-degree counts for conspiracy, theft of a motor vehicle, a Ram 2500, and unlawful possession of a weapon, a Sig Sauer P365 XL. The fourth count was in the third degree for theft.

Kalijah A. Anderson, Nya M. Anderson and Safiya H. Anderson were jointly indicted for third-degree aggravated assault. Kalijah Anderson alone was named in four other counts, for second-degree aggravated assault, third-degree aggravated assault, third-degree possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, a pocket knife, and fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon.
