A “certain person” charge can be brought against individuals whose previous convictions bar them from having weapons.
Ronald G. Norbeck faces an eight-count indictment: A second-degree count for robbery, six third-degree counts, two of which were for aggravated assault, two for resisting arrest, one for making terroristic threats and one for possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose. The final count was in the fourth degree, for unlawful possession of a weapon. The weapon in this case was a shovel.
Matthew R. Ercolani was named in a four-count indictment for possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, a knife, and making terroristic threats to stab another person, both counts in the third degree. Two fourth-degree counts were for unlawful possession of a weapon and certain person. Ercolani was convicted in 2014 for possession of a CDS.
Rebecca M. Aviles and Jennifer Scott were separately and independently indicted on one count each of possession of a CDS in the third degree. The substances respectively were tramadol and heroin.
Thomas F. McGovern was indicted on one count of third-degree eluding police.
Robert M. Sullivan was named in a one-count indictment for fourth-degree theft related to an incident in Middle Township in January.
Justin D. Hill faces two third-degree counts, for possession of a CDS and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
Felicia M. Omrod was indicted on one count of fourth-degree shoplifting in Middle Township in December.
Paul H. Baker faces two counts of possession of a prohibited weapon, a defaced sawed-off shotgun.
Anthony G. Melendez was indicted on a single count of fourth-degree shoplifting.
John A. Giacometti was named in a three-count indictment, with two counts of second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, along with third-degree certain person. The weapon was a Glock 43 handgun. The certain person charge related to a firearm seizure as part of a violation of the Domestic Violence Act.
Sara C. Errickson and Joseph A. Ragan both face individual counts of murder in the first degree. They are jointly named on a count of conspiracy to commit murder, also in the first degree.
