Indictments Filed Aug. 22

Readers are reminded that not only are all individuals listed below presumed innocent unless proven guilty, but there may also be multiple individuals who share the same name, even in the same town.

COURT HOUSE – A Cape May County grand jury handed up 20 indictments Aug. 22. 

The abbreviation CDS below stands for controlled dangerous substance. 

Julissa T. Gomez-Peralta was named in a three-count indictment for forgery, uttering a false instrument, and attempted theft by deception. All counts were in the third degree.

David Robinson was indicted for fourth-degree aggravated assault and second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, a Smith and Wesson loaded shotgun.

Austin F. Vaccaro faces a second-degree count of aggravated assault under circumstances that meet the definition of domestic violence.

Justina M. Ozelski, Edward Williams, Gerald M. Raab, Amy K. Przybylinski, and Susan Kelly all face counts of third-degree possession of a CDS. Williams faces two counts and Kelly was named in three counts. The drugs listed included fentanyl xylazine, methamphetamine, heroin, and bromazolam.

Kyier A Wright was indicted on six counts, including first-degree attempted murder. The indictment contained three counts of aggravated assault, two in the second degree and one in the third, along with two second-degree counts for unlawful possession of a weapon, a 9mm firearm.

Anthony H. Ruhl was indicted on a single count of second-degree eluding police related to an incident in Dennis Township in July.

William M. Gallagher was named in a two-count indictment that includes first-degree drug-induced death and third-degree distribution of a CDS, fentanyl. This case was transferred from Atlantic County. No reason was provided in the indictment.

Luis E. Cuevas-Vicente and Leonel Diaz-Uceta were named in a seven-count indictment. Both individuals face three counts of third-degree theft, two counts of receiving stolen property, and one count of third-degree attempted theft. Diaz-Uceta alone was named in a second-degree count for eluding police.

Angra Brown was indicted for forgery, attempted theft by deception, and uttering a false instrument, each count in the third degree, along with a fourth-degree count for criminal simulation.

Nicholas W. Perkins faces two third-degree counts for theft and forgery related to a forged check in Ocean City in June.

Edwin Lopez was indicted on a single count of second-degree eluding police in Ocean City in June.

Brian Chase and Jamie Guth were both named in a four-count indictment for first-degree drug-induced death, second-degree conspiracy, and two counts of third-degree possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and cocaine.

Conner Overcash faces a single count of third-degree aggravated assault related to an incident in Dennis Township in October 2022.

Gary R. Tracy was indicted for fourth-degree stalking for behavior that occurred from December 2022 to January 2023 in Wildwood Crest.

Christopher Vesper, Giovanni Alicea-Ocasio, and Brittany Unruh were indicted on two counts of possession of a CDS and two counts of possession with intent to distribute, all four counts in the third degree. The drugs were fentanyl xylazine and cocaine. All three also face a second-degree count for possession of a weapon while committing certain CDS crimes, a machete. Unruh alone was named in yet another third-degree count for possession of methamphetamine.

Abdul Matlabe was indicted on two counts of third-degree theft related to incidents in Sea Isle City in June.

Jordan D. Glenn faces a single-count indictment for third-degree shoplifting in Stone Harbor in June.
