Readers are reminded that not only are all individuals listed below presumed innocent unless proven guilty, there may also be multiple individuals who share the same name, even in the same town.

COURT HOUSE – A Cape May County grand jury handed up 10 indictments on Dec. 3.

The abbreviation CDS below stands for controlled dangerous substance.  A “certain person” charge can be brought against individuals whose previous convictions bar them from having weapons.

Rayma C. Cruz was indicted on three counts including two in the third degree for theft and failure to make required disposition. The last count was in the fourth degree for unlawful taking of a means of conveyance.

Bonnie E. Paulson faces a five-count indictment with two third-degree counts for possession of a CDS with intent to distribute and two for possession of a CDS. The controlled substances were methamphetamine and heroin. The fifth count was in the fourth degree for possession with intent to distribute drug paraphernalia.

Zuleyka Delgado-Gonzalez was named in a two count indictment with both counts for third degree possession of a CDS, cocaine and fentanyl/xylazine.

Vincent Walker was indicted for second degree aggravated assault in circumstances that met the domestic violence definition and for criminal restraint. Both counts were in the third degree.

Kimberly McAllister faces two counts for third degree possession of a CDS, methamphetamine, and fourth degree hindering apprehension.

Dylan S. Elliot was indicted on two counts of third degree possession of a CDS, fentanyl and cocaine.

Hannibal A. Donaldson faces a count of second degree aggravated assault under circumstances that met the definition of domestic violence.

Corey J. Mackryan, Kanye M. Crawley, and Tina M. Bencivengo were named in an eight count indictment. Mackryan and Crawley jointly face four counts including a second degree count for unlawful possession of a weapon, a Glock 27 handgun, second degree conspiracy, and two fourth degree counts for prohibited weapons, large magazines and hollow point bullets. Mackryan alone faces a second degree count for unlawful possession of a weapon, a handgun. Crawley alone was named in two counts for third degree certain person and fourth degree hindering apprehension. The certain person count is related to a prohibition against Crawley possessing a gun based on the Prevention of Domestic Violence Act. The final count in the indictment names Mackryan and Bencivengo for hindering apprehension in the fourth degree.

Briana Costello and Elizebeth Costello were jointly indicted on two third degree counts for shoplifting and conspiracy.

Jamar A. Lovett faces a nine count indictment with three first degree counts for robbery and possession of prohibited weapons, two guns, even though he had been convicted of second degree robbery in 2019. The indictment makes no mention of why these two counts related to the earlier conviction are prohibited weapons counts and not certain person counts. Along with the three first degree counts, the indictment contains five second degree counts for aggravated assault, burglary, two unlawful possession of a weapon counts and conspiracy. The final count in the indictment is for theft in the third degree.
