HEATON, SAMUEL B., Jr.
Samuel B. Heaton, Jr., 70 of Belleplain, NJ passed away February 9, 2025. He was born in Millville, NJ to the late Samuel and Margaret (formerly Stouffer) Heaton, Sr. Sam retired after 38 years, working for the Woodbine Development Center. He loved hunting and was a member of the Crooked Horn Gun Club. Later in life he enjoyed farming, but most of all enjoyed time with his family and friends.
Sam is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sue (formerly Dolly); daughters Chris (Doug) Wyeth, Susan Dunwoodie, and Sophia (Timothy) McIntyre; brother James Heaton; sisters Ruth Heaton and Gert Harris; grandchildren: Shane, Cheyenne, Aidan, and TJ; and his beloved cats, Ninja and Marbles. Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his son-in-law, Dennis Dunwoodie; and brothers Sonny Schneep and Marvin Heaton.
