LUCILLE ORA
Lucille Ora (DeChino) Ghigliotty, 83, of Millsboro passed away Friday, February 7, 2025 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Manual (Bud) Ghigliotty, died March 31, 2014.
Born in East Orange, New Jersey, she was the daughter of Salvador and Harriet DeChino. Lucille, known as Ceil to her family and friends, worked in Church's Garden Center in Cape May, New Jersey, before moving to Delaware. In Delaware, she last worked for Thoroughgood Appliances in Rehoboth Beach. Being Italian, she loved to cook and bake for her family and friends. She also loved music and played piano and the accordion for them during many family and friends singalongs.
She is survived by two sons: Frank Ghigliotty of Millsboro and Thomas S. Ghigliotty and Marybeth A. Mell of Ocean View. She is also survived by her grandson: Shane Thomas Ghigliotty of Chattanooga, TN, and his son Noah Thomas Ghigliotty.
She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Ceil's name to any local hospice organization.
