From Our Readers: Eclipse Photos

Nicholas Scheuermann
Herald reader Nicholas Scheuermann compiled 17 photos of the April 8 eclipse. Each picture was taken in 5 minute intervals from beginning to maximum coverage. Then the darn clouds rolled in. He used the Unisteller evScope 2. It’s a computerized telescope that is controlled by a smart device.

By Herald Staff

We asked our readers to send us local photos of the eclipse. We were lucky enough here on the peninsula to enjoy a (mostly) cloudless eclipse on a warm day. Thanks to everyone who sent us photos. One of these will be featured in tomorrow’s print edition of the Herald.
