Firefly Gardens is a network of gardeners dedicated to growing and donating fresh produce to those in need. Founded in 2024, Firefly Gardens connects recreational gardeners with local food pantries to decrease food insecurity and support families in Cape May County through the donation of home-grown produce.

Fresh produce is often missing from families suffering from food insecurity. Meanwhile, many recreational gardeners struggle to make effective use of all the produce their gardens yield. FFG encourages gardeners to donate their produce to food pantries, creating easier access to fresh produce for those in need. In return for members’ help in decreasing food insecurity, we have partnered with local garden centers that also care about our community and offer benefits to our members. FFG is actively searching for more members and partners to grow our organization and make a true difference in the lives of others.
