To the Editor:
Re reconsidering extending Route 55, I found this article to be very disturbing with its focus being on lost revenue and inconvenience to commuters driving down to the Shore points.
What about the inconvenience and death to all the creatures that live in these environmentally sensitive areas?
We need to preserve the environment and the creatures that live in it for our children and grandchildren to experience.
If we keep worrying about revenue streams and driving conveniences we lose sight of the beauty and the environment we have on this Earth. Please stop being so shortsighted.
