EDWARDS, JEANNETTE
Jeannette A. Edwards (nee Maiale), age 89, of Cape May Court House, NJ, passed away September 11, 2024. Born in Camden, NJ to the late John and Sylvia (Bevilaqua) Maiale. Beloved wife of the late Raymond Alonso Edwards for 70 years.
She later lived and raised her family in Bellmawr and Sicklerville, NJ. In 2001, Raymond and she moved to Cape May Court House, NJ. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, reading and watching Sean Hannity nightly. Jeannette was a member of the Our Lady of the Angels Church.
Devoted mother of Karen (Ron) Rotan, Renee Kinner and Maria (Steve) Raws. Will be missed by her loving sister-in-law, Bernice Maiale, her 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her sisters, Dolores (Maiale) Schmidt and Rita (Maiale) Hancock and brothers, Henry, John and Nicholas.
The funeral service and celebration of life will be on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. Viewing will begin at 9:30am followed by mass at 11:00am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 176 Stagecoach Road, Sicklerville, NJ 08081. Entombment will be at New St. Mary's Mausoleum, 515 W. Browning Road, Bellmawr, NJ 08031.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jeannette's name to Boy's Town, P. O. Box 8000, Boys Town, NE 68010, or Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306.
