There are multiple ways voters can cast a ballot in the Nov. 5 General Election in New Jersey. They can elect to vote by mail, use the vote-in-person early voting option at select locations, or vote in person at their assigned polling place on Election Day.
The in-person early voting option lets residents cast their ballots in person, using a voting machine, during a nine-day period prior to Election Day, allowing voting in person when it is most convenient for a resident’s schedule. The dates for early in-person voting are Saturday, Oct. 26, to Sunday, Nov. 3. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Each county designates locations for early in-person voting. No appointments are required, and accommodations will be provided for voters with disabilities.
Cape May County has three locations for residents to do early in-person voting by machine. County residents can go to any of the three, which are:
- Lower Township Library, 2600 Bayshore Road, Villas
- Middle Township Library, 30 Mechanic St., Cape May Court House
- Upper Township Library, 2050 Route 631, Petersburg
