WILDWOOD CREST — Wildwood Crest Police Chief Robert Lloyd has been elected to the executive board of the New Jersey Chapter of the FBI National Academy Associates, the department announced.

The FBI National Academy Associates, Inc., is a nonprofit international organization of more than 14,000 senior law enforcement professionals dedicated to providing communities, states, countries, and the profession with law enforcement expertise, training, education, and information.

Lloyd’s election was confirmed during the chapter’s fourth-quarter business meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 3. The association includes hundreds of law enforcement management and executive leaders from across New Jersey.

Lloyd, a graduate of the FBI National Academy’s 277th session, completed the program in September 2019. Since then, he has been an active member of the academy’s alumni association, which fosters collaboration and professional development among law enforcement leaders.

“Congratulations to Chief Robert Lloyd,” the Wildwood Crest Police Department shared in a statement. “The chapter is composed of several hundred management and executive law enforcement leaders from across the state,” the statement continued.
