WILDWOOD CREST – Chief Financial Officer Francine Springer has been named the borough’s interim administrator and Municipal Clerk Patricia Feketics the borough’s interim deputy administrator, the borough has announced.

The appointments are effective immediately and are expected to last at least through the end of the calendar year. The Board of Commissioners made the appointments at its meeting June 25.

“With summer here and a municipal election on the horizon in the fall, we believe it is best for the borough to manage the administrator responsibilities internally for the time being,” Mayor Don Cabrera said. “We will reevaluate the administrator position and its requirements by the end of this year.”

Springer has served as the borough’s CFO since 2018. Feketics has worked for the borough for 22 years, serving as municipal clerk since 2015.
