Youth camps offered in various locations

The Center for Community Arts (CCA) will hold summer art camps for kids ages 10 – 14.
Camps will take place in three locations: Cape May City Elementary School, 921 Lafayette St. in Cape May, The Millman Center, 209 Bayshore Rd., Villas, and Wildwood High School, 4300 Pacific Ave., Wildwood. All classes begin June 29, but times and themes may differ.
In Cape May and Villas, camp times are 9 a.m.-noon, and run from June 29 to August 21.
Some themes include, Theater, Spirit Masks, Jewelry Making, Comic Creation, Papier Mache, Mosaics, and more. In Wildwood, camp is 8:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Classes run for five weeks, ending July 31.
Some themes include, Calder’s Circus, Sculpture from Junk, Oaxacan Animals, and more.
Mini Exhibits will be held on Fridays, 11:45 a.m., at the Cape May and Villas locations. Parents, family and friends are invited to view campers’ creations.
A light snack is provided at all three locations each day. Scholarships are available to qualified individuals.
