Grades 3-5 Boys
Aug. 2
Playoff – Hot Spot IV 35, Domino’s Pizza 23: Nathan Dwornik (14) and Stephen Kmetz 912) each scored in double figures for Hot Spot. Domino’s got 10 points from Robert Andrews and seven points from Luke Rachubinski.
Playoff – Adventurer Oceanfront Inn 32, Wawa Markets 26: Ty Bonner poured in 22 points ad Patrick Flaherty and Danny Benichou each added four points for the winners. Alex Daniel netted 11 points and Chris Papageorgiou contributed nine points in the loss.
Grades 6-8
Aug. 2
Consolation – Poppi’s Pizza 36, Russo’s Market 30: Junior Hans tallied 13 points and Ryan Troiano chipped in seven points for Poppi’s. Alessandro Sanzone posted 10 points and Michael Zarfati added eight points in the loss.
Playoff – Dogtooth Bar & Grill 57, Duffer’s Ice Cream 30: Archie Lawler topped all scorers with 24 points and Manny Weaver added 16 points for Dogtooth. Ryan Andrews scored 11 points and Lance Lillo added seven points in the loss.
Playoff – Cone Crazy 50, Original Hot Spot 35: Jacob Bey erupted for a game-high 35 points and Lukas Basile chipped in six points in the win. Anthony Trombetta claimed 17 points and Adam Dille added six points for Hot Spot.
High School
Aug. 1
Consolation – Crestfully Clean 55, Smitty’s Parking Lots 48: Anthony Porter (19) and Torey Harris (11) paced Crestfully Clean. Smitty’s got 19 points from David Zarfati and eight points from Matt Carrion.
Playoff – Victorian Gardens Landscaping 40, Casiello Construction 35: Joey Andrews (17) and Tommy Belansen (13) led the winners. Max McGrath’s 13 points and Tyler Pine’s eight points topped CC.
Playoff – Big Time Vending 39, Alfe’s Restaurant 23: Seamus Fynes collected 11 points and Joel Robinson added eight points for Big Time. David Durham registered eight points and Devon Roach chipped in five points in the loss.
Aug. 3
Championship – Big Time Vending 28, Victorian Gardens Landscaping 27: Seamus Fynes netted 12 points and Jaxon Tomlin scored all eight of his points in the second half to pace Big Time Vending to the championship game victory. Tommy Belansen collected 13 points and Corlen Vallese added five points in the loss.
