CAPE MAY — The Volunteer Committee at Cape May City Elementary School hosted its annual Volunteer Breakfast. As a thank you to our wonderful volunteers for all they do for our school, they were invited to a breakfast buffet of delicious goodies. During the breakfast, the Volunteer of The Year is recognized.
This year a group was presented the Volunteer of the Year Award. The Garden Club of Cape May City was recognized as the Volunteer of the Year. The members of the garden club work with the first grade classes on beautiful flower arrangements. The members volunteer their time and provide the materials for the students to make their displays for their families. Ms. Joan Safaryn was in attendance at the Volunteer Breakfast to accept the award on behalf of the members of the Garden Club of Cape May.
