WILDWOOD CREST – The world’s second-best U2 show will be on display in Wildwood Crest this weekend.
2U, the East Coast’s premier U2 tribute band, will take the stage at Centennial Park July 29, at 7:30 p.m. as part of the Wildwood Crest Summer Music Series.
One of the more popular acts throughout the nine-year history of the Wildwood Crest Summer Music Series, 2U packs a punch by bringing the powerful music of one of the world’s most iconic rock bands to each of its shows.
From “With or Without You” to “Bloody Sunday” to “Where The Streets Have No Name” and much more, 2U recreates many of U2’s most popular hits at every show with stunning accuracy. The band regularly performs scores of shows each year all over the East Coast and beyond and has even performed in U2’s homeland of Ireland, as well other foreign countries.
Saturday’s event is a free all-ages show. Attendees should bring a blanket or a chair.
CentennialPark is located at Fern Road and Ocean Avenue.
The Wildwood Crest Summer Music Series is hosted by the Wildwood Crest Recreation and Tourism Department and supported by the Wildwood Crest Tourism Development Commission.
