Think Spring! Become a Literacy Tutor

By Press Release

PLEASANTVILLE – If you want to make an impact in your community, consider becoming a volunteer for Literacy Volunteers Association Cape-Atlantic, Inc. (LVA.)   LVA’s 15 hour tutor training workshop will prepare you to work with adults who want to improve their reading, writing and English language skills.  Registration is now underway for the upcoming workshop.
Tutor Training Workshops consist of three hour classes, held once a week for five consecutive weeks.  The Spring workshop meets for five consecutive Saturday mornings, beginning April 16 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Ocean City Free Public Library.
For detailed volunteer or registration information, please call the Literacy Volunteers office at 609-383-3377, or visit the Literacy Volunteers’ website, www.lvacapeatlantic.org.  Share your ability to read and speak English; adult students are waiting for your help.

Give the gift of literacy; it lasts a lifetime.
