The young and the young at heart visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus at the County Zoo

By On Deck Staff

Nearly 600 people went to the Cape May County Zoo Dec. 12 for the annual free “Santa in the Tropics” event hosted by the Board of Chosen Freeholders.
Freeholder Director Daniel Beyel welcomed Santa and Mrs. Claus to Cape May County when the magical duo stopped by the Zoo Aviary to visit with children and their families.
All participants had the opportunity to take a photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus indoors in a tropical setting, make a craft in the Reptile House, visit educational stations, and receive a free ornament from the Ark in the Park.
