The winner of Cape May’s “Pick Your Own Getaway” Raffle is…

David Yeager, Cape May Lighthouse Keeper and resident of Wildwood Crest, is the winner of the “Pick Your Own Getaway” Raffle sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts and Humanities (MAC). Bob Fite, MAC’s 2009 Honor Award recipient, drew the winning raffle ticket during MAC’s annual meeting.
Yeager won the grand prize which includes $1,000 worth of MAC’s Cape May Gift Certificates including dinner for two at the Washington Inn and Cucina Rosa, lunch for two at the Carriage House Tearoom and Café, and retail gift certificates worth $500 including $100 to MAC’s Museum Shops.
The raffle raised $11,640 which will go towards on-going restoration projects at the 1879 Emlen Physick Estate, Cape May’s only Victorian house museum.
