Team Rubicon Descends on Wildwood to Help Family Affected by Blizzard Jonas

By Press Release

WILDWOOD — Team Rubicon, a veteran-led disaster relief organization, will be in Wildwood to conduct debris removal and helping repair the home of a disabled resident following severe flooding from Blizzard Jonas. Multiple homes were significantly damaged, and Team Rubicon was on scene to assess the damage and assist those with the greatest need.
Team Rubicon will be working on clean out and recovery of a home in Wildwood, NJ. Team Rubicon assets will work directly in concert with the local community services to provide disaster response.
Team Rubicon unites the skills and experiences of military veterans with first responders to perform these services. Beyond disaster relief, Team Rubicon helps veterans find a renewed sense of purpose—vital as many Veterans return to civilian life after more than a decade of war.
Team Rubicon, which was founded by two US Marines after the earthquake in Haiti has grown to over 30,000 volunteers nationwide.
