Township Manager and Council are pleased to announce the opening of the Townships Pool in North Cape May with improvements being done. The pool opens tomorrow, Sat., June 23.
We are in the process of replacing the old anchor fencing around the pool area with white privacy fence. We have also installed a handicap ramp to make it easier for individuals in need.
Also, more and more people are discovering our “Delaware Bay Beach” area and how nice it is! “We have the best Sunsets in the state, and are proud of it”. The Township Officials want you to enjoy the beaches, however please clean up and don’t leave litter behind. The Township provides doggy bags at the street ends for dog walker usage – when their dog “down loads”. All dogs should be on a leash.“It would be great if everyone would just be ‘courteous and thoughtful’ by cleaning up after their self and their dogs, it would be appreciated”
We have trained lifeguards at our pool, however the beaches are unprotected. We ask that parents keep a close eye on their children!
