Ideally located between the Atlantic Ocean and Delaware Bay, the Cape May area is a perfect region for growing wine grapes. Local wineries benefit from the area’s warmer temperatures that extend the growing season and its sandy soil, good for drainage.
Taste the unique flavors of each of the county’s wineries with a new event for 2009, The Cape May Wine Trail.
