NORTHFIELD — Courtney Lynne Wolf, 9, of Northfield started a mission called TEDDY BEAR “Hugs 4 Haiti” in which she is collecting small bears purchased at any store to be sent to Haiti.
Those bears will be packed up and sent to Haiti for the children to help them cope with the tragedy they are going through and with your help out there make this happen.
This is a way to say “love” from the United States and from a child herself that cares about the community in which she lives.
Wolf does a lot of community services throughout Atlantic County, her church and her school which is the Northfield school at Route 9 and Cedarbridge Road.
Various groups are starting to come forward to donate boxes and shipping supplies while others contact organizations and people to make sure the bears get to the children and not sit in a warehouse.
At the present time, donated small (new or used in good condition) bears may be dropped off at any of the followin locations and other new drop off locations will be around – so look for boxes in Atlantic County. Bears may also be dropped off at Central United Methodist Church, Central Avenue and Shore Road, Linwood and Law Offices of Michael T. Wolf located at 450 Tilton Road, Suite 120, Northfield.
For those living in Cape May County, drop off at 11 Tern St., North Cape May. Lynne Heritage will transport them to Atlantic County for shipping:

Let everyone help in some way for those children in Haiti. There is a goal of 1,000 bears has been exceeded by 100, and the collection continues. This will allow more children to receive a teddy bear. Everyone’s help and support is appreciated, said Heritage.
