CREST HAVEN — Recently, students from the Special Services School District visited the Cape May County Technical High School’s cosmetology salon. The visitors were treated to manicures and new hairstyles by the cosmetology students at Cape May Tech.
Mrs. Jacqueline Holland is the cosmetology instructor. Holland said, “This is a special event. The students from both Special Services and Cape Tech look forward to it every year.”
Ms. Maureen Behrmann, Special Services teacher, shared, “The schools come together for a day of vocational exploration, some pampering, and most importantly, making new friends.”
The activity is a positive experience for all students.
The cosmetology program of study is designed to prepare students for the N.J. State Cosmetology/Hairstyling License and a professional career in cosmetology, barbering or one of its related areas and focuses on hair, skin and nail care for men and women.
