Cape May County Special Services
Cape May County Special Services announces New Community Swim Programs available for everyone at the Cape May County Special Services School District Pool, located at 148 Crest Haven Road in Cape May Court House. There are a variety of new classes, which include Aqua Zumba, Aqua Spin and Mobile Moves/Core Strength.
The Community Swim Program also provides recreational and instructed programs such as Adult Lap, Family Swim, Arthritis Aquatic Exercise, Water Walking, Aquacize and Swim Lessons.

Kindergarten Registration
The Avalon and Stone Harbor Districts will be conducting kindergarten student roundup on Fri., March 18 at 9:30 a.m. in Stone Harbor School for parents only.
Those with a child who will be turning 5 years of age on or before Oct. 1, 2011 should call Mrs. Lisi at (609) 368-4413 for an appointment to register.
Parents will need to bring to the registration the following:
*Proof of birth or baptismal certificate. Child must be 5 years of age on or before Oct. 1, 2011.
* Proof of immunizations. Bring most current records.
* A copy of the child’s most recent physical signed by either the pediatrician or Advanced Practice Nurse.
* Proof of residency. A valid driver’s license, showing home address, along with either a current tax or utility bill.
Registration packets are available for pickup at either Stone Harbor or Avalon schools. Registration packets can also be sent by mail to be filled out prior to the appointment time to help speed the process the day of registration.
Child Find
Those having a preschool or school age child, aged 3-5, who is experiencing difficulties with communication, academic, socialization or motor skills development, should be aware of Child Find.
The Stone Harbor District has preschool disabilities programs, as well as other special education services for students who have been identified as eligible through and extensive evaluation process.
The child may be eligible for services through the district.
Those who suspect their child may have more than a mild delay should contact Mrs. Linda Gibson, Preschool Case Manager, at (609) 463-1900 Ext. 1209
Wildwood High School
Wildwood Middle/High School Drama Club will venture into the hallowed halls of High School Musical with opening night on April 8, at 7:00 p.m. in Wildwood High School auditorium at 4300 Pacific Avenue, Wildwood, NJ. There will be an additional show on April 9, at 7:00 p.m. The show is under the Direction of Adrienne Laigaie and Assistant Director Teri Calloway. There will be an additional free senior citizen dress rehearsal performance on April 7, at 7:00 p.m.
Wildwood Drama Club has an extremely impressive cast and crew of 50 middle and high school students in this years’ spring musical production.
Some of the lead roles include; Troy Bolton, junior Gregg Leidy is the captain of the basketball team conflicted about his love of singing. Gabriella Montez, junior Ana Nguyen is the new super smart shy girl. Ms. Darbus, sophomore Courtney Davis is the kooky, eccentric theater director.
Sharpay Evans, senior Sarah Peterson, and Ryan Evans, junior Bryan Seda are President and Vice-President of the East High Drama Club and in every musical production since they were in kindergarten. Jack Scott, senior Amritdeep Singh is the on air announcer of East High.
Other notable characters include Kelsi Neilson, senior Krystina Tozer; Taylor McKessie, sophomore Cheyenne Beck; Coach Bolton, junior Zak Barrett; Chad Danforth, junior Kyle Brown; Zeke Baylor, junior Tayi Chitewere; Jason, junior Louis Millet; James, junior Patrick Kennedy and Martha Cox, sophomore Sydney Pfeil.

Advanced reserved seating is $10.00 adults, $5.00 for students and senior citizens.
