Ocean Academy Staff Supports Breast Cancer Research

CREST HAVEN –– Ocean Academy staff will participate in the Susan G. Komen Three-Day Breast Cancer Walk this weekend.
The walk spans 60 miles in the Philadelphia area and will end at the stadium at Villanova University and provides fundraising to support the research work provided by the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Since its inception in 1982, the foundation has raised over one billion dollars.
The team from Ocean Academy titled, “It Takes A Village To Find a Cure” raised over $30,000.
Fundraising goals were met with the overwhelming help from the incredible staff of Cape May County Special Services School District.
Mary Kay Cosmetics parties, Square One Designs Jewelry and T-shirt sales were all part of the great effort to help the team meet its goal.
The team includes Mar Margaret Lynn, Carol Sieber, Angel French, Cindy Petrella, Robin Gatto and Carol Sabo.
