COURT HOUSE — Organized by French Teacher and French Club Advisor Wendy Cope, Middle Township High School students participated for the first time in Go Blue for CASA Dress Down Day in April and raised over $800. Representatives from Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children of Atlantic and Cape May Counties met some of the teens to thank them for their commitment to youth living in foster care.
Go Blue for CASA Dress Down Day takes place every April in recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month.
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children of Atlantic and Cape May Counties and its trained volunteers speak on behalf of abused and neglected children in the foster care system and are dedicated to ensuring these children are placed in safe permanent homes as quickly as possible.
