Third and fifth grade students from Glenwood Avenue School in Wildwood participated in the Kiwanis Bringing Up Grades (BUG) program. BUG is a program designed to provide recognition to students who raise their grades into an acceptable range, and maintain or continue to raise them from one grading period to the next. The students received a certificate and a pin in recognition of raising their grades for the third marking period.
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world through service to children and communities. The Greater Wildwood Kiwanis is one of over 8000 clubs in 96 countries. The BUG program is one of several service projects they sponsor to help local children and the community.
