Glenwood’s Student Council Gives to Good Shepherd Academy

By On Deck Staff

In June, Glenwood Avenue Elementary School’s Student Council awarded the Good Shepherd Academy of Sialkot, Pakistan a check for $125.00, which were proceeds from the annual indoor yard sale.
The academy’s chairman and retired Wildwood teacher, Sabir Barkat, visited Glenwood and explained the mission at the Good Shepherd Academy to the fourth and fifth grade students. Mr. Barkat mentioned that, “The children of Good Shepherd will be extremely thankful to know that the little children in America collected funds on their behalf.”
Thanks to Mr. Menszak, Student Council advisor, for orchestrating these successful events.
