ACCC Students to Hold Public Relations Panel

COURT HOUSE — Communication students at Atlantic Cape Community College’s Cape May County Campus will host a public relations panel discussion from 11 a.m.-12:15 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 25, in the first floor lobby, 341 Court House-South Dennis Road, Court House.
Attendees will have an opportunity to interact with public relations professionals regarding the public relations industry.
Panelists include public relations practitioners from Rowan University, AtlantiCare, Tropicana Casino & Resort, and other regional public relations professionals.
“We are excited to be hosting the first PR panel discussion at Atlantic Cape Community College. This event will be a great networking opportunity for students, faculty and members of the community,” said Joy Jones, assistant professor of communication at Atlantic Cape.
Guests are encouraged to ask the panelists public relations-related questions. Panelists attending include: Courtney Birmingham, advertising & public relations manager, Tropicana Casino & Resort; Keith Forrest, assistant professor of communication, Atlantic Cape Community College; Larry Litwin, professor, Rowan University; Barbara Murphy, owner/partner, Fish With Feet, LLC; Rowan University; Scott Wahl, public information officer, Borough of Avalon; Jennifer Tornetta, manager, Community & External Relations, AtlantiCare; Lenora Boninfante, communications director, Cape May County Communications Office.
This event is open to members of the community and light refreshments will be served.
