6th Grade Graduation Held at Cape May City Elementary School

CAPE MAY — Thurs., June 16, the 6th Grade students at Cape May City Elementary school were recognized for their accomplishments throughout the year at the 6th Grade graduation. Parents, Cape May City Elementary School Board Members, United States Coast Guard Band and community members were in attendance for the ceremony.
Superintendent Victoria Zelenak, Mayor Edward Mahaney, Captain Todd Prestidge of the United States Coast Guard Base, provided words of well wishes and encouragement for the graduating class. Jessica Rippman, Alexandra Bruno, Nicholas Hall, Derek Lopez and Sheldon Kilduff also prepared speeches for their fellow classmates.
Students were presented certificates for their hard work this school year. These certificates were presented by Superintendent Victoria Zelenak, Cape May City Elementary School Board of Education President Edward Conolly and Kiwanis Club Member, Larry Reed.
The United States Coast Guard band provided musical numbers for the program.
