5th Graders at Cape May City Elementary School Create Wax Museum

Cape May Wax

By Press Release

CAPE MAY – Mrs. Hoff’s 5th Grade students at the Cape May City Elementary School acted as “Wax Museum” statues. Students had to pick a famous person that inspires them and they share a passion with. Students researched and wrote biographies about their choice. Then they invited the other students in the school and families to come and view them dressed up as their famous person. Students and families were able to bring the “Wax” figures to life by tapping them on the shoulder. Once a “Wax” figure was tapped they provided a fact about the person they are representing.
