The Cape May County 4-H Youth Program mourns the untimely loss of Jerry McManus, Master Gardener and friend to all. Jerry’s smiling face will be familiar to many as he served countless plates of chicken barbeque at the 4-H Fair through the years. As President of the CMC Master Gardener Association, Jerry masterminded the beautiful Irma’s Memorial Herb Garden, located just past the Lockwood 4-H Youth Center on the 4-H fairgrounds. Friends of Jerry purchased a memorial bench that will be placed near the garden. Please come have a seat during the 4-H Fair, and spend a few moments relaxing among the herbs and butterflies as you remember our dear friend Jerry.
